Every time I get on the darn thing my heart palpitates so hard. I avoid it all together at home. Drives me nuts to see the numbers aren’t what I want.
I keep forgetting it’s JUST A TOOL!!
It’s not my friend or my enemy. It doesn’t make any difference if I pray really hard before I get on it. (Although… I do still do so at the dietician office.. hehe)
There is just so much to losing weight that it probably the word ‘weight’ doesn’t minutely describes it. So why are we so obsessed?
My advice if you are going on a mission to fight off the pounds… weigh yourself once at the start and weigh only at 4 weeks interval at most. Even that is enough to make you want to creep into a dark hole.
Don’t worry the best scale or measuring tool is you. If you feel great, if you feel fresh, if you are less sickly and best of all your clothes are loose… hey you are on the right track.
No matter what the scale says… your body doesn’t lie. :)
